Abstract
This paper shows the design and development of a project, accomplished at the beginning of the first year program of the computing engineering technical curriculum, based on the assessment of basic science subjects, together with the English language proficiency, with the purpose of developing and modifying, if necessary, the course syllabus in order to adapt the course content to the university general guidelines and strategic planning, according to the students background knowledge from their secondary studies.
