Abstract :
A MANET is an emerging technology which is the important technical foundation to support pervasive computing and future mobile communication systems. It has become a hot research topic due to its flexibility. With the extensive applications of MANET, security becomes severe and faces new challenges. In MANET, security attacks are particularly serious. In this paper, we provide an overview of network confrontation in MANETs. We investigate some common attacks as well as countermeasures against such attacks in MANETs.
