Abstract :
Recently, researches on hierarchical clustering routing protocol in wireless sensor networks have been widely carried on. In large wireless sensor networks the above protocols are not scalable. In this paper, we proposed a multi-hop levels protocol, which were presented to prolong the network lifetime and reduce energy consumption of sensor nodes, gathered data by common sensor nodes, and then an optimal path of multi-hops based on levels was formed among in clusters which lead to cluster heads, the cluster heads leads to sink node at last. Experimental result indicates that the new algorithm is energy-efficient.
