  • Abstract
Many awareness mechanisms in groupware systems provide a limited range of information. Awareness information can, however, benefit users in a wide range of system activities. We provide examples of such activities based on experiences with users working with a groupware system in a real work setting. We present a model of awareness which incorporates user feedback and activity information and implement a computerized organizational memory for capturing the feedback relationships. The lowest level of memory that associates different user views and profiles with the group task is illustrated on the basis of a case memory prototype
