Abstract :
This paper discusses the use of frequency transformations and pattern recognition to improve the accuracy of single speaker multiple word speech recognition systems. A speaker database with 124 words is used to show the performance of the speech recognition system. Signal processing and speech signal processing techniques are used to improve the effectiveness of the speech recognizer. This algorithm has applications in other areas of aerospace due to its accuracy, ease of hardware implementation, and simplicity.
