Abstract :
A two-stage amplifier is implemented by utilizing Austria Micro System (AMS) 0.35 μm CMOS technology with double poly and triple metal layers. The highly linear amplifier consumes 20 mA from a 1.8 V power supply and achieves a power gain of 26 dB with an OIP3 of 14.5 dBm. The fully integrated compact design is realized on only 2 mm2 chip area including bias circuitry and power-down mode.
