Engineering management curricula of some tertiary institutions in Southern African countries were studied considering the depth of coverage, time status of the various techniques dealt with and relevance to today´s economic and technological demands. These parameters were compared with those of other tertiary institutions in certain developed countries such as the United States of America and Japan
