  • Abstract
    The research in the paper contributes to publicly delivering the delegation parameter and to reducing the amount of verifying operation for a proxy signature. A new proxy-protected proxy signature scheme is presented based on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP). To meet the demand for security, the proposed scheme inherits most of the merits of the typical solutions based on the discrete logarithm problem (DLP). As to the expectation toward efficiency, the scheme based on the ECC can achieve higher performance than those based on the DLP.
