Abstract
In wireless sensor network, the sensing ability is marked by the sensing model. So, the definition and analysis about the sensing model are going to directly influence the whole network. In order to solve the problem, that how to design and choose the sensing model, kinds of models are firstly under severally consideration in terms of instantaneity and accumulation in this paper. And a novel model-the Discerning Sensor Model is presented. Finally, the comparison among models is given by the simulations. With the varying parameter, the application scopes are determined for different sensing models.
