Abstract :
An improved algorithm is proposed for Direction-Of-Arrival (DOA) estimation of coherent signals on a ULA, which get new covariance matrix by reconstructing a Toeplitz matrix using the observed data vector rather than getting covariance matrix directly by observed date vector. Traditional decorrelation algorithms are based on ULA. They can only find the one-dimensional (1-D) direction of arrival angles (DOAs). This paper employs the three orthogonal uniform linear arrays to find the 2-D direction of arrival angles. Simulation results verify that the proposed algorithm has better performance than the spatial smoothing MUSIC at the same simulating condition.
