Abstract :
In China, traffic jams and accidents which caused by snow drifting were occurred frequently in winter. In this paper, we qualitatively analyze the flow pattern of cutting, the characteristic of snow drifting process, the factors of snow drifting disaster, which is based on combining with results of snow drifting field observations around cutting. It provides the valuable experiences for next field observations and theories for investigating snow drifting forecast and preventing blowing-snow disasters.
