Abstract :
In this paper we present the performance of a low-noise amplifier for microwave communication systems based on a set of HEMTs (NE20283A, by NEC), characterized and modeled according with a simplified method of our noise figure measuring system driven by a proprietary procedure. The results of the comparison with the standard method are also reported
