A fast convergent technique for analyzing planar periodic structures is proposed. It entails the use RWG triangular discretization for modeling flexibility and the complex image method, Ewald´s method and addition theorem for numerical efficiency. The number of terms required for a convergent result reduces from tens of thousands to 25
