Abstract :
In the current mobile communication scenario, users have to trust the network operator to make correct charges over the calls made and articles purchased online using a mobile phone. Previously proposed asymmetric payment used digital signatures which are computationally expensive. In this paper, we propose the use of joint signatures as a foundation for achieving authenticity, privacy and non-repudiation in m-commerce applications.
