Abstract :
The major contribution of this work is a provision of available tool to study the dimensionless variables for hydraulically fractured wells producing from a reservoir of inverted nine spot pattern. A simplified approach was used to calculate the dimensionless variables. Considerable decrement was observed on dimensionless variables with the increment of producing time. Different parameters were analyzed to study this behavior; relative permeability of the water was found as the major factor affecting the dimensionless parameters. The effect of fracture length and fracture conductivity on the ultimate oil production was presented.
