Abstract
Accurate prediction of the blasting vibration is the premise and foundation of vibration control. However, the vibration influencing factors are complex and are stochastic and fuzzy, which have brought difficulties to the vibration predication. The conventional methods may not provide accurate results. Based on measured data from some engineering practices, this paper presents an adaptive neutro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) to build a prediction model for vibration control. Comparing the results calculated in empirical formula with the results simulated from ANFIS prediction model, the later results are obviously improved; it can be well applied to predict the vibration velocity.
