Abstract :
Communications Services Providers are faced with regulatory technology and marketplaces changes. Today´s Operations Support Systems are not designed to support the enhanced decision-making abilities required to respond to these changes. A data warehouse such as NCF(R) Network infrastructure Warehouse gathers data from disparate databases on inconsistent platforms and in different formats via an architecture that transforms the data into a consistent format. Once that is in place, communications services providers can access, organize, and utilize their data more effectively and use modern reporting, analytical, and data mining tools in unprecedented ways.
