Abstract :
There has been a dramatic growth in the demand for telecommunications management systems since the advent of a large volume of new technologies for telecommunications service delivery (SDH, ATM, FR, etc.). TMN is an approach favoured by many management systems users and providers. Development of TMNs is a complex issue. Among the task to be performed during TMN development is the modelling of information to be exchanged across TMN interfaces. Quality is an important matter in all system development activities and this is also the case when producing the TMN information models. It is preferable to detect and resolve errors in all software artifacts as soon as possible in the system life-cycle as the costs of making corrections grows as development progresses
