Abstract :
The simplest single mass model is considered which is described by the second-order linear equation in continuous time with delay. The L 1-control problem is stated and solved for the general scalar second-order system with the L bounded noise in plant and in measurement. A complete solution is presented. It includes explicit expressions for the minimal value of the L1-functional and explicit equations of optimal compensator which appears to be of the integro-differential type
