Abstract :
Knowledge analytics addresses processes for the analysis of integrated quantitative data and qualitative information, within structured and unstructured media. A military experimentation knowledge analytics system and processing methodology is advanced as an instance of knowledge analytics. The referenced knowledge system was developed to analyze new information and communication technologies and supporting organizational processes. In military experimentation the knowledge is developed iteratively such that findings of prior experiments are integrated into future experimentation in a highly dynamic cycle. The methodology addresses knowledge processing and the transition of data into information and information into knowledge. A feature of the approach is the capacity for reach-back and thread analysis to trace knowledge items back to source data, and forward to recommendation, decision and action.
