Abstract :
Among the literature on optimal control of discrete event systems (DES), few works have been done using fuzzy control. In this paper, a high-speed discrete event system is considered. It is made up of a set of multi-inputs single-output processes. Owing to the nature of the available information (binary vectors), a hierarchical fuzzy controller is proposed to control this system. This controller consists of a set of local fuzzy controllers and a coordinator. Each local fuzzy controller is used to control a specific component of the system. The obtained results using this approach will be presented and discussed
