Microwave tests on prototype-T/R-modules

Microwave tests on prototype T/R-modules for radar applications are described. Due to the high number of T/R-modules in a system and due to its main performance decisive role in the system the electrical behaviour of the T/R modules must be known with regard to every conceivable electrical parameter. With the described measurement types some T/R module specific electrical parameter tests are investigated. With growing demands on the electrical performance of the modules the test efforts increase tremendously. During serial production of the modules the electrical quality assurance tests however need much less test parameters if reproducible component integration techniques are used
