Abstract :
The monitoring of system performance in the UK photovoltaic domestic field trial has resulted in the largest data set to date for domestic PV systems under UK conditions. In this paper, the performance ratio and annual yield values are discussed for a sample of 285 domestic systems on 18 sites across the UK. The spread of values and the nature of the system losses observed are discussed, along with the implications for design and operation of systems in UK locations
