Several Bussgang Blind Equalizer Algorithm Performance Analysis

Abstract :
In this paper, the signal model for the baseband equalized communication system is addressed, and then three typical Bussgang equalizers based on this model are investigated: Constant modulus algorithm (CMA), Sato and Decision-Directed (DD). The simulation results of the performance with the the algorithm are given, it show that the equalizer based on CMA can offer better BER performances of the system as well as faster convergence speed than those of equalizers based on Sato and DD.
