Abstract :
The problem of electromagnetic scattering from a layer of randomly distributed vertical dielectric cylinders is considered in this paper. Closed-form expressions for the second-order scattering fields are derived for two cylinders which are in the near field of each other based on the reciprocity theorem. The forward scattering coefficients of a layer of dielectric cylinders are obtained by using the Monte-Carlo simulation which takes into account multiple scattering terms up to second order
