Abstract
Conceptual designs are presented for an improved Doppler wind profiler system to support space shuttle launches from NASA Kennedy Space Center. This system is based upon extending KSC´s current monostatic wind profiler to the bistatic configuration. Results are presented for several bistatic antenna sub-systems that produced acceptable wind profiler performance
