Abstract :
Collecting real-time data online is one of the most important works to a water environment information management system. However, water quality automatic monitoring apparatus from different manufactories may comply with heterogeneous field-buses such as Modbus, Profibus, OPC and so on. In this paper, a new data acquisition system on enterprise service bus is designed and implemented to deal with those differences and provide users with uniform services. Adapters integrate clients of Modbus, OPC respectively to communicate with their servers. All of them are implemented as plug-in components of ServiceMix and assigned different priorities on the requirement of real time application. The change of the network topology, sensors brings merely an update to the configuration files. So, the system can be established quickly and easily, and is suitable especially for the needs of emergent systems.
