Abstract :
There are a number of dependency modeling tools in use today. The concept of representing the relationship between system behavior and failure modes using dependency modeling (otherwise called inference modeling) has significant merit, and has been proven to help achieve improved testability at reasonable cost. The purpose of this paper is to establish the requirements for dependency modeling systems which would result in optimum effectiveness of the output for the development of Test Requirements Documents and Test Program Sets.
