Abstract :
For smart antenna technique many algorithms are fit ADBF (Adaptive Digital Beamforming). In adaptive beamforming algorithm, the G-S (Gram-Schmidt) algorithm has the advantages of quick convergence and good interference rejection performance. In this paper, line array adaptive beamforming technology is studied. First the basic principle of G-S algorithm is clarified, G-S algorithm is given, and based on traditional algorithm, an improved G-S adaptive beamforming algorithm is proposed. The improved algorithm can remove the target signals from received signals and just leave the jamming signals to be orthogonalized, prevent that target signals are treated as jamming signals. Theory analysis and simulation results prove that the improved G-S algorithm can form deeper nulls and has better stability in TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) system.
