Abstract :
Recently the carbon field electron emitter, especially the carbon nanotube (CNT)/carbon nanofiber(CNF) emitter has been attracted great attentions for many researchers, due to their strong covalent bonding, much less sensitive to electromigration than metallic field emitter, be able to get high current, and can emit stable current even if , as one of the next generation vacuum X-ray tube´s new cathode material, has also been attracted by a number of groups . Although the CNT/CNF cathode has unique properties for potential applications, but the preparation of matured and low-cost is still a topic that attracts much attention in vacuum devices area.
