Abstract
Presents an inexpensive computer-based analysis and diagnostic method for human back muscle fitness. A novel test equipment with electronic instrumentation and a computer analysis system is designed. Analysis programs calculate the average power of a subject´s back and hip muscles. Laboratory results show statistically significant differences between healthy and unhealthy backs. The performance of the system appears to be more specific than the other methods used
