Abstract :
Due to the complexity of variety steel technology, an artificial forecasting project based on Web for variety steel technology is presented. The project is built under Internet circumstance applying artificial neural network technology. By applying Matlab Web technology and combining with the database and artificial neural network toolbox in MATLAB, the project system has the ability of getting data from variety steel technology database and calculating by neural network and then displaying the calculation result on the browser through Web server. The result of research shows that this forecasting project system can successfully map the technological rule of variety steel, and provide timely forecasting operation of machining result with high efficiency and high accuracy for variety steel´s user under Internet. The forecasting project based on Web can share the knowledge and experience of variety steel technology.
