Abstract :
Eye diagram is a very successful way of showing the quality and parametric information about the serial data signal. But traditional test instrument has some drawbacks for implementation of eye diagram construction and analysis. The third generation oscilloscope--Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope (DPO) can overcome the shortcomings of traditional test instrument. In this thesis, the design and implementation of eye diagram construction and analysis in the DPO developed by us is discussed. And the testing results of our design are given at the end of the thesis. The design has been used in the prototype of DPO and works well.
