Abstract :
Application is described of a PLC (programmable logic controller) for the gathering of data from solid-state motor protective devices and displaying that information in a control room some distance away. The PLC logic programming and BASIC programming required to accomplish this display of information are described. Programming tools and techniques to aid the engineer in implementing such a system are discussed
