    This paper briefly outlines SOCOM´s use of ATM and how we expect the market for ATM based services to evolve. Basically, we do not think that ATM is mature enough to be widely used for programme delivery to the home today. However, we do expect that it will be the dominant technology used to deliver interactive multimedia programming to the home in the future
