Abstract :
This paper presents comparison of cascaded H-Bridge and multilevel dc link inverter using only a dc power sources. The performance of a seven level multilevel dc link inverter based on sine and space vector pulse width modulation control technique. Performance analysis is made based on the results of simulation study conducted on the operation of the multilevel dc link inverter using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The performance parameters chosen in the work include the waveform pattern harmonic spectrum, fundamental value and total harmonic distortion (THD) of the single phase multilevel dc link inverter.
