Abstract
Fault identification for a class of multiple time-delay systems with unknown input based on a class adaptive observer is investigated. Both of the states and faults of the time-delay systems can be identified by such adaptive observers. By utilizing H∞ tracking performance, the design procedure and condition of stability for the adaptive observer are given by LMIs. Finally a numerical example shows the simplicity and the effectivity of the proposed approach.
