Abstract :
This paper presents LLC series-resonant half-bridge DC DC converter. This circuit is characterized by zero voltage-switching (ZVS) that results in higher efficiency. Possibility to incorporate higher switching frequency and has some potency to reduce switching losses. Power factor improvement and high efficiency is achieved with a constant output voltage and DC output voltage is regulated by using closed loop control and the simulation results for the converter is presented.
