Abstract :
Accurate identification of domestic nonlinear loads using Hartley Stockwell transform has been proposed in this paper. The method uses the scalable cas window as its kernel which dilates and translates with the time varying function and hence results in very high time and frequency resolution. Hartley S-transform produces unique signatures for each type of nonlinear load. The proposed method is more suitable for identification of nonlinear loads as the parameters like current and voltage depends of on both time and frequency. The effectiveness of the method in identification is easily proofread from the results obtained.
