Abstract :
This article presents a strategy and development of low cost Swarm Robots for foraging with combined collective exploration for target and aggregation strategies. The robots in the swarm communicate with each other by a predefined message protocol of assigning priorities. The communication strategy developed is simulated on a self-developed simulator applying real time constrains. The communication between robots is established by generating message matrices during simulation in 2D and 3D detail. This article further details the development of hardware for low cost swarm robots and testing at micro level.
