Abstract :
Space vector modulation (SVM) is commonly used in motor drives. In order to reduce the calculation time in SVM a coordinate rotation digital computer (CORDIC) algorithm is used to generate trigonometric functions. The algorithm is implemented using a microcontroller. It was experimentally shown to be able to generate the desired waveforms at several frequencies.
