Abstract
Robust synchronization of two hyperchaotic Wang systems is investigated in this paper, using sliding method. In the sliding mode control algorithm, two different sliding surfaces are defined to both stabilize the synchronization error dynamic and guarantee the prescribed disturbance attenuation. The stability of the system is proven using Lyapunov stability theory. Simulation results confirm the high performance of the designed controller and its capability in synchronizing the systems in the presence of uncertainties, noise perturbation and nonlinear control input.
