Abstract :
Investigations were made of the azimythal homogeneity, parameters of an electron beam and its sizes in a magnetron gun with a cold metallic secondary-emission cathode depending on the value and distribution of magnetic field. It is shown that such a source generates an electron beam with an azimuthal homogeneity ± 4%.
