Abstract :
A low-power low-voltage rectification and sample-and-hold circuit is presented. The circuit is based on transistors operating on weak inversion using a procedure developed in this paper. The proposed circuit can be programmed to function as sample-and-hold only or rectification and sample-and-hold. The design has been simulated with the CMOS 0.35 ¿m, 3.3 V technology. For a power supply voltage of 2.3 V and an input swing of 1.9 Vpp, the third harmonic distortion is less than -44 dB and the current consumption is 6 ¿A.
