Abstract
This paper analyses the practical stability of a class of networked nonlinear control system. Systems of interest are those, which can be globally asymptotically stabilized without the insertion of network. Here constant short delay of the network is investigated and packet dropout of the network is omitted. It is shown that if the controller is designed as global asymptotic stability for the plant without network using established standard control methods then the same controller will achieve practical stability for the networked control system when implemented via the network if the network is fast enough.
