Abstract :
The research of atmosphere channel model has the important application value to Whether Free-Space Optics system can communicate efficiently and reliably. In accordance with the former problem, the one that is singly adopting attenuation empirical model and irradiance fluctuation lognormal distribution model; utilizing the method of simulation analysis, analyzed the impact of different attenuation models on maximum communication distance and the impact of irradiance fluctuation probability distribution model on error performance. The results show that atmosphere attenuation models should combine empirical models and experimental measurements models, distinguishing turbulence intensity when applying irradiance fluctuation probability models.
