Abstract :
An embedded graphic user interface (GUI) terminal which is used in ship positioning system based on Global Position System (GPS) is designed. The basis system software and hardware frames are introduced firstly. Then the procedure to make an appropriate embedded Linux system is discussed, and also for the transplantation of miniGUI. At last it explains how to implement a GUI application program based on the embedded Linux and miniGUI platform.
