Abstract :
In the physical simulations of vibration suppression of cantilever beam, using piezoelectric intelligent structure as the sensors and actuators for the flexible beam, we apply adaptive control method based on characteristic model in vibration suppression of the beam. The control results show that this method is effective for vibration suppression.
