Abstract :
This project deals with the control of chaos in SEPIC DC-DC converter using sliding mode control. In current programmed control, by varying the reference current, the system behavior changes from stable buck operation to an unstable boost operation. To get a stable periodic behavior, it is preferred to use a sliding mode control. In this method, the sum of two inductor currents is taken as the control target which can lead to stable sliding motion. This control method not only provide stability, but also increases the input voltage variation domain for which the system remains stable, keeping the current - controlled property independent of the duty cycle.
