Abstract
Automatic modulation classification (AMC) is an important task in open-loop adaptive orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. This paper proposes a channel prediction method to improve the performance of the AMC employed in the adaptive OFDM system. Efficient techniques of noise reduction and interpolation are exploited to achieve an appropriate prediction quality. Simulation results show that the proposed method enhances the performance significantly.
